Halacha Compliance

Understanding our commitment to strict Shabbat observance standards.

Physical Dimming vs. Electronic Switches

Our Shabbat lamps operate on a purely mechanical principle. In accordance with Halacha, no electronic circuits are opened or closed during the process of adjusting the light levels.

The light source remains on constantly, while a specially designed mechanical shade rotates to physically block the light or allow it through. This "indirect" method ensures that the user is not performing a prohibited labor on the holy day of Shabbat.

  • Purely Mechanical Mechanism
  • Safe for All Observance Levels
